Zeekr Mix MPV: Pillarless Doors, 800V — Zeekr Europe 2026
Zeekr Europe: Zeekr Mix electric MPV with pillarless doors, 2+2+2 seating, 650 km range. Zeekr Europe price and launch 2026.
The Zeekr Mix is an electric MPV that reworks the family minivan. Pillarless coach doors (rear-hinged front, front-hinged rear), 2+2+2 lounge seating, swivelling front seats, and a 15.6-inch rear screen define the layout. With 800V architecture, up to 650 km CLTC range, and 10–80% charging in about 15 minutes, it targets families who want space, flexibility, and fast charging without SUV-level prices.
I haven’t driven the Mix yet—it’s new—but I’ve studied the design and specs. The pillarless doors and flat floor create a flexible interior that traditional minivans struggle to match. The “mobile living room” concept (face-to-face, cinema, sleep mode) reflects how families actually use large vehicles. It’s the kind of bold design Chinese brands are willing to try; European and American OEMs have been slower in this segment.
This article covers the Mix’s design, specs, pricing, and European launch plans. As of March 2026, Euro NCAP safety ratings for the European-market Mix are pending.
Design Philosophy
The Mix breaks from conventional MPV layout. Coach doors give pillarless entry; there is no B-pillar. Seating is 2+2+2 in a lounge configuration and the floor is flat throughout. A panoramic glass roof extends to the windshield. Externally it’s 4,688 mm long, 1,995 mm wide, 1,755 mm tall—smaller than many minivans—but the EV architecture maximises interior space.
| Element | Innovation |
|---|---|
| Doors | Pillarless coach/suicide doors |
| B-Pillar | None |
| Seating | 2+2+2 lounge |
| Floor | Flat, unobstructed |
| Roof | Panoramic glass to windshield |
Interior Features
The front row has swivel captain chairs (180° when parked), integrated armrests, heating, cooling, and massage. The second row has independent captain chairs with slide, recline, and swivel; they fold flat for cargo and there’s an optional integrated child seat. The third row is a two-seat bench that folds flat. Modes include face-to-face (front seats turn to face rear), cinema (15.6-inch rear screen), sleep (rows 2–3 form a flat bed), and cargo. It’s designed as a flexible family space, not just a people mover.
Powertrain and Specs
The Mix uses the 800V SEA platform with 76 kWh or 102 kWh battery options, up to 650 km CLTC range, a single 310 kW rear motor, 0–100 km/h in 5.8 seconds, and 10–80% charging in about 15 minutes. ADAS includes Zeekr AD (highway pilot, automated parking, 360° cameras). Connectivity: 16-inch central screen, 8-inch passenger display, 10.25-inch instrument cluster, Qualcomm 8295, 5G.
| Specification | Value |
|---|---|
| Architecture | 800V SEA |
| Battery | 76 kWh / 102 kWh |
| Range (CLTC) | Up to 650 km |
| Motor | 310 kW rear |
| 0-100 km/h | 5.8 seconds |
| Fast charging | 10-80% in ~15 min |
European models will use CCS2 for DC charging. Euro NCAP results are pending for the European-market Mix.
Pricing (China) and Competitive Position
In China, the Mix Standard (76 kWh) starts around ¥279,000 (~€37,000). The Long Range (102 kWh) is ¥319,000 (€42,000), the Premium (102 kWh) ¥359,000 (€48,000). Compared to the Kia Carnival (hybrid, €37,000) and Tesla Model X (€91,000), the Mix offers electric propulsion, fast charging, and an innovative interior at a midpoint price. European pricing is TBD.
Global Availability
The Mix is available in China now. Europe and the Middle East are planned for 2026. North America is under evaluation. Zeekr Europe will offer the Mix to families as a practical EV with strong winter capability (800V charging), 650 km range, and premium features at a fraction of Model X pricing. Challenges include different expectations for minivan layout and the need for a Zeekr dealer and service network. Our Zeekr Europe Guide covers availability by market.
Why the Mix Matters
The Mix reflects several trends: lifestyle EVs as mobile living spaces, innovation in a segment many OEMs have neglected, and 800V spreading to family vehicles. European and American brands haven’t offered a comparable concept. If the Mix succeeds, it could influence how the industry thinks about large family EVs.
Frequently Asked Questions
Are pillarless doors safe?
Zeekr has designed the door structure to meet crash safety standards. The absence of a B-pillar is compensated by reinforced door frames and chassis. Euro NCAP results, when available, will provide independent validation.
When will the Zeekr Mix launch in Europe?
Zeekr has indicated 2026 for Europe. Specific countries and pricing have not been fully confirmed. Check Zeekr’s European site for updates as launch approaches.
How does the Mix compare to a Tesla Model X?
The Mix is an MPV with a different layout (2+2+2 lounge vs SUV seating). It offers similar range (650 km vs 576 km Model X), faster charging (15 min vs 25 min), and lower expected price (~€42,000 vs ~€91,000). The Mix emphasises interior flexibility; the Model X offers SUV styling and falcon wing doors.
